The Boletín Oficial de la República Argentina is the official journal of the Argentine Republic. It is the primary publication of legal norms (laws, decrees, and regulations) and other acts of a public nature. According to article five of the Civil and Commercial Code, the publication of the laws in the Boletín Oficial is a necessary step for laws to be binding. Laws become effective immediately upon publication in the BO, unless a later date is specified in the legislation. Año 1— , 1 Jul 1893—. (cited as La Gazeta de Buenos Ayres). Spanish.
