Brabant humanist. Geffen, 1524 - 's Hertogenbosch, 15 July 1601. A natural son of Gerard van Vladeracken, lord of Geffen and Nuland, he completed his studies at the University of Louvain in 1545, became co-rector of the Latin School in Amersfoort, teacher at the chapter-school at s Hertogenbosch in 1559, and rector of this influential institution in 1591. A letter of Plantin to Vladeraccus, 20 September 1586, let it be understood that the scholar had submitted to the typographer some other works than those published by the Plantin Press in 1586 and 1588, which finally did not get into print: a 'Synonymorum opus', a 'Colloquiorum opus', and a treatise written in Dutch (Corr., VIII-IX, no. 1140).
