Note 2 | The cost-accounting note in Arch. 4, folio 68, gives the following details about the 'Epist. et Evang. graece in 8⁰': the wages for composing and printing are entered from 15 July till 19 August 1564 and amounted to 21 florins Carolus guilders As each copy contains 10 sheets and as 1,250 copies were printed, 26 reams 10 'mains' of 'papier longueť were used, which, at 18 stuivers per ream, came to 23 florins Carolus guilders 8 stuivers The sum of 1 florins Carolus guilders 16 stuivers for 'les copies à corriger avant l'impression' brought the overall expenses to 46 florins Carolus guilders 4 stuivers |
