Note 2According to the colophon in the second volume the printing was finished on 5 June 1580.
Note 3The first edition seems to have been published by the heirs of Mathias Gast in Salamanca, 1578 (Palau y Dulcet, 6, page 367, no. 107781).
Note 4Listed in M 296, folio 7v (Granat. ludovici Conciones de Sanctis, 8º, 2 voll., [feuilles] 65, [price:] stuivers 20). Not in M 321.
Note 5In a letter to de Çayas, September-October 1579 (Corr., VI, no. 840, page 89), Plantin affirms to have printed (or to have still on his presses: the text is not very clear) 'Conciones de tempore et de sanctis fr. Lud. de Granada 5 tomis' (= probably meaning the 3 volumes of the Conciones de tempore of 1577-1579 [see no. cp013438] and the 2 volumes of this edition). In a letter to Buyssetius of 10 December 1579 (Corr., VI, no. 851, page 115), Plantin is somewhat more explicit: he affirms to have on his presses, together with other publications, 'Concionum Granatensis de sanctis tomi duo in 8º'.
