Arias's translation is accompanied by marginals: on one side (on uneven pages: to the left, on even pages: to the right) the original Hebrew text, on the other side Latin explanations or comments on specific points. The text-edition is preceded by three Latin poems by Arias Montanus: '…de psalmorum studio usu; Ad lyram.
