Note 2 The cost-accounting note in Arch. 4, folio 68, gives following details about the 'Sententiae Ciceronis 16⁰': the first sheet was paid to the pressmen and compositors on 28 May 1564, the 16th and last sheet on 23 July 1564 (each sheet costing 2 florins Carolus guilders 6 stuivers). Moreover, on 16 September 1564 8 florins Carolus guilders 6 stuivers was entered 'pour la premiere feille refaicte et la faceon de la table'. In all 45 florins Carolus guilders 2 stuivers. Three reams of paper were used per sheet, meaning that 1,500 copies were printed. For the 16 sheets per copy 48 reams of paper were used, but the 'mains dimperfections', proofsheets and the reprinting of the first sheet meant an additional 6 reams. These 54 reams, at 1 florins Carolus guilders 3½ stuivers per ream, came to 63 florins Carolus guilders 9 stuivers, bringing the overall costs to 108 florins Carolus guilders 11 stuivers
