It may be supposed that he also consulted the edition by F. Modius, published in Cologne in 1580 (E. Legrand, Bibliographie hellénique des XVe et XVIe siècles, IV, Paris, 1962 [reprint], pages 231-232, no.748). The 'vetus editio Parisiensis' is perhaps to be identified with the edition of Budaeus, published in Paris in 1532 (Ibidem, III, page 342, no. 326). |
