Note 1 Sentences and formulas for writing Latin letters, compiled from Cicero's Epistolae familiares, and at the end 'Sententiae aliquot ex libro primo Officiorum Ciceronis' (folios 66v-70v) by Gabriel Prateolus (Dupréau).
Note 2 Very likely a reprint from a Parisian edition, published between 1556 and 1561.
Note 3 The edition was already on the market at the end of 1561 as 12 'flores Ciceronis' were sold to 'la poule grasse' (Birckman), Antwerp, on 16 December 1561, for 1 florins Carolus guilders 4 stuivers, and 4 unbound copies to Maternus Cholinus, Cologne, on 7 January 1561 [= error for 1562], for 3 stuivers (Arch. 36, folios 17r and 17v).
Note 4 Listed in M 296, folio 6v (Flores scribendi ex ep [isto]lis Cic., 16, f[euilles] 4½, [price:] stuivers ¾, a⁰ 1562), and M 164, folio 13v.
