Note 3 | The cost-accounting note in Arch. 4, folio 119 verso, gives the following details about 'Collectio plurium locorum Prateoli: the wages for composing and printing are entered on 28 June 1567 and amount to 10 florins Carolus guilders 8 stuivers As each copy contains 4 sheets and as 1,250 copies were printed, 10½ reams (including ½ ream for 'les imperfections') of 'papier petit carré' were used, which, at 1 florins Carolus guilders 8 stuivers per ream, came to 14 florins Carolus guilders 14 stuivers, bringing the overall costs to 25 florins Carolus guilders 2 stuivers |
