| Note 4 | The sale of copies of the 'Confessionario de Vittoria' is mentioned quiteoften in Plantin's ledgers - as early as 20 November 1555; in 1556, and a large number in 1557. It seems, consequently, that, besides the edition of 1558 mentioned in the catalogues, Plantin already in 1555-1557 published other editions as well. Cf.
