| Note 1 | The cost-accounting note in Arch. 4, folio 71, gives following details about 'Biblia in 8⁰ avec des reglettes de cuivre'. The wages for composing and printing are entered from 1 July 1564 till 11 February 1565. Paper: 69 sheets per copy, of which 4 printed at 2,500 (= Interpretatio nominum Hebr[aicorum]), the others at 2,000, making 280 reams and 4½ reams 'pour le surplus imprimé en Nomina Hebraica', and another 3 reams 'estre papier rompu et fautes', i.e. a total of 287½ reams, costing 547 florins Carolus guilders 12 stuivers Wages for composing and printing: 364 florins Carolus guilders 14 stuivers (including: 2 florins Carolus guilders 2 stuivers for 'les 2 copies' [= of a Bible-edition used as model], 30 florins Carolus guilders 'A maistre Estienne [de Wallencourt] pour avoir mis les versets etc', and 18 florins Carolus guilders 4 stuivers for 'reglettes de cuivre'). Total: 962 florins Carolus guilders 6 stuivers |

| Note 3 | Interpretatio nominum Hebr. refers to Hebraea, Chaldaea, Graeca et Latina nomina…quae in Bibliis sparsa leguntur (described sub no. 1749). This Hebraea…nomina was thus intended to be part of the 1565-Bible, but as a larger number was printed, some of the copies have been sold separately. |
| Note 4 | The cost-accounting note affirms that 2,000 copies of the Bible and 2,500 copies of the Interpretatio nominum Hebr. were printed; the note, however, ends with 'parquoy revient a 1900 complettes': for some unspecified reason the final edition was somewhat lower than the cost-accounting figures indicate. |
| Note 5 | It is very likely this edition which is listed in M 296, folio 2r (Biblia Lat. 8⁰, a⁰ -, f[euilles] 69, [price:] stuivers 18), and M 164, folio 4r. |
