Note 2The larger part of the illustrations of the 1566-publication have been used again, in all 80 woodcuts, of which 2 are twice reproduced (on pages 801 [for 108] and 110; on pages 290 and 292). One of the three doubles used in the 1566-edition has been dropped (the plant called 'bona minor'; reproduced as 'bona maior' on page 89), whilst the paragraph on the 'epimedium' was not retaken and with it the illustration of the plant (in the 1566-edition on page 236). But six illustrations are added (on pages 74, 173, 193, 195, 207, 293).
