| Note 2 | It is not quite clear why Plantin printed and published this work of the Danish schoolmaster. In the dedicatory Hegelundus presents himself as a pupil of Joachimus Camerarius, who in those years was in close contact with Plantin: perhaps the German humanist acted as middleman. |
