Note 1 | First edition of this curriculum of the 6 classes of a high school (more especially Verepaeus's own Chapter School in 's Hertogenbosch) with the lists of books to be read and studied in each class. In his foreword the author gives some interesting pedagogical advice; referring for more details to his own Institutiones scholasticarum libri [III], published in Antwerp by Bellerus (in 1573) (cf. below). |
