| Note 3 | This Hebrew Old Testament is in the same type-composition as the in 8⁰ edition of 1574 (see preceding no.); very likely first the text of the in 8⁰ publication (on two columns) was printed and then the composition re-arranged (on one column) for printing the in 24mo edition. |

The first volume was probably printed in a larger number as it is listed separately in M 296, folio 14v ('Pentateuchus in 24⁰ pages hȩb. A⁰ 73, f[euilles] -, [price:] stuivers 3½'). The same was very likely true for parts of volume 3: Psalmi (see no. cp010386), and Proverbia (see no. cp010135). |
