Note 1In 4 volumes, which could and very likely were normally sold separately. The first three volumes are a reprint of Plantin's previous edition. The 4th volume is very likely a reprint of a Lisbon edition published after 15 July 1580 (= date of Ludovicus's dedicatory).
Note 2According to the colophons the printing of volume 2 was finished in August 1581, of volumes 3 and 4 in September 1581.
Note 3Listed in M 296, folio 7v (Granat. ludovici p[rimus] de temporibus a adventu usque quadrag., 1581, f[euilles] 37, [price:] stuivers 12. Granat. lud. tomus 2d de tempore…? quadragesimale, 1581, f[euilles] 56, [price:] stuivers 18. Granat. tomus 3 a paschate ad festum Corpus Christi, 8º, 1581, f[euilles] 39, [price:] stuivers 15 (?). Quartus tomus a festo Corpus ad Adventum, aº 1581, f[euilles] 45½, [price:] stuivers 15). Not in M 321.
Note 4In his letter of 3 July 1581 de Çayas asks Plantin to send him 'los sermones de fray Luys de Granada' (Corr., VI, no. 935). Plantin promises to mail them as soon as they will be finished (Corr., VI, no. 940, page 292: 'Conciones Granat. incontinent qu'ils seront achevés').
Note 5In April 1583 Michel Sonnius, the Parisian bookseller, asks J. Moretus to send him 'la reste de Granatensis complet' (Corr., VII, no. 999: 20 April 1583; cf. also letter of 29 April 1583, Ibidem, no. 1000: 'Conciones Granatensis complet').
Note 6Volume 2 had a complement in the Quinque de poenitentia conciones published in 1581 (no. cp012694). Both must normally have been sold together as they are listed as one publication in M 296 (Granat. lud. tomus 2d…f[euilles] 56; in fact 56½ sheets: 50½ sheets for the 'tomus 2' proper and 6 for the Quinque de poenitentia conciones).
