Note 2This edition was probably printed to accompany the Bible in 8⁰ published jointly by Plantin and Steelsius (but printed by Plantin) in 1559 (see no. cp010921). Very likely a number of copies were printed to be sold separately (in any case the copy in Museum Plantin-Moretus is bound with an in 8⁰ Bible of Steelsius, 1563, and the one in British Library London with an in 8⁰ Bible of A. Birckman, 1563).
Note 3An in 16mo edition must also have been printed in 1560, very likely from the same type-composition (see following no.).
Note 4Both editions of 1560 are listed in M 296, folio 9v (Interpretatio nom. heb. in 8⁰ et 16⁰ a⁰ 1560, f[euilles] 5, [price:] stuivers 1½).
