Note 3The cost-accounting note in Arch. 4, folio 101, gives the following details about 'Epitheta Ciceroniana': the wages for composing and printing are entered on 8 September and 25 October 1566, and amount to 9 florins Carolus guilders 16 stuivers Each copy contains 5 sheets. For the edition were used 13 reams (meaning that, taken into consideration the 'deffects', some 1,250 copies were printed) of paper 'petit carré', which, at 1 florins Carolus guilders 8 stuivers per ream, came to 18 florins Carolus guilders 4 stuivers, bringing the overall costs to 28 florins Carolus guilders
