Online bibliographical references
Note 1 Short treatise in rhyme on the 'redenkaveling' or dialectic: one of a series of interesting works on Dutch linguistics published by the Amsterdam Chamber of Rhetoric, De Eglentieren (with the motto: In liefd bloeyende), compiled very likely by members of the Chamber, who, however, have remained anonymous. The series includes two other treatises printed at Leiden by Plantin (Tweespraeck vande Nederduitsche Letterkunst, 1584: see no. 2347; Ruygh-bewerp vande Redenkaveling, 1585: see no. 2158). The Kort Begrip followed the Ruygh-bewerp. The series was closed in 1587 with a fourth publication, Rederijck-kunst in rijm opt kortst vervat, Leiden, Frans Raphelengius.
Note 2 Listed in M 321 (under 1585, Kort begrijp des Redekavelings in Rym, f[euilles] 4½ (= an error for 1½), [price:] stuivers -).
