Note 1Reprint of the 1565-edition.
Note 2On the title-page are announced the Animadversiones Mureti, auctae a Francisco Fabricio Marcodurano which in 1565 accompanied the Terentius-edition but as a separate publication (cf. preceding no.). In 1567, however, the work does not seem to have been issued again. The statement about the Animadversiones on the title-page and in Plantin's foreword to the reader were reprinted, without Plantin having actually the intention to issue this part of his 1565 Terentius-edition.
Note 3The cost-accounting note in Arch. 4, folio 117, gives the following details about 'Terentius 16⁰': the wages for composing and printing are entered on 3 May (quires AB-CD-EF) and 28 June ('pour 7 feilles') 1565, and amount to 30 florins Carolus guilders 17 stuivers As each copy contains 10 sheets and as 1,500 copies were printed, 31 reams (including 1 reams for 'les imperfections') of paper 'grand carré' were used, which, at 1 florins Carolus guilders 12 stuivers per ream, came to 49 florins Carolus guilders 14 stuivers (= in fact 49 florins Carolus guilders 12 stuivers), bringing the overall costs to 80 florins Carolus guilders 11 stuivers 'c'est un peu plus de ung stuivers la pièce'.
Note 4Listed in M 296, folio 18v ([Terentius in 16⁰] Idem A⁰ 1567, f[euilles] 10, [price:] stuivers 2).
