Note 1This is Plantin's 4th edition of a Breviarium Romanum in 8⁰. It bears the date of 1570 but was in fact also printed in 1569: Plantin's compositors and pressmen started in the week after 3 September 1569 and got the work done in the week ending on 26 November 1569 (Rooses, Musée, page 100; cf. Arch. 16, folio 116 [Accounts with Manutius]: 'In Novembri [1569] achevé une aultre impression in 8⁰ sur la date de l'an 1570').
Note 2Thousand copies were printed for which Plantin paid Manutius the 'dîme' (Arch. 16, folio 116).
