Description

A traveling exhibition from Beit Hatfutsot featuring exceptional, hand-embroidered wedding gowns inspired by artifacts from their collection. The gowns were produced by third-year students from the Fashion Department at the Shenkar College of Engineering and Design. Each student was instructed to explore the core exhibition of the Museum, choose a Jewish community, and present it in a personal narrative through their design. Images of the objects that inspired the dresses were presented alongside the exhibits. 13 items.
