Description

The Museum’s third exhibition of contemporary Australian Judaica, and the first to focus also on the creation of Judaica for new Jewish ceremonies and rituals, in particular those relating to women. More than 60 original, innovative items of Judaica were featured, created by thirty artists, including some of Australia’s leading craftspeople. Curator’s introduction on specific holidays, ceremonial objects, the synagogue, etc. 42 exhibits pictured and described.
