Virtual reconstructions of 16 German synagogues which, prior to their destruction, were integral parts of their cities’ urban landscape. Exhibition in three sections: 1. historical introduction to the process of discrimination and social ostracism of the Jews, which culminated in Kristallnacht, 2. photographic documentation of the synagogues’ destruction process, and 3. virtual tours inside the synagogue reconstructions.
