Description |
This exhibition was drawn from the 1979 exhibition “Rites of Passage” [#542]. The exhibitions shared only one object in common: an 18th-century Eastern European wedding cane that contains poles to uphold the chuppah (from the Obermayer Collection). The cane is now housed in the Rodeph Shalom Congregation, Philadelphia, USA. |
