The French version of a traveling exhibition originally presented in 1982 [#724]. The present catalog contains mostly historical documents and prints, with a few ceremonial objects. Introduction by Aaron Kamis-Müller. 8 essays on various aspects of Swiss Jewish history, including an overview of Jewish belief and rituals (by Georges Vadnaï) illustrated with ritual objects. No itemized listing.

An updated version of the exhibition, curated by Ralph Weingarten, toured Switzerland beginning in 1998. It was accompanied by a new brochure, Schweizer Juden: Broschüre zur Wanderausstellung der Gesellschaft Minderheiten in der Schweiz (GMS) und der Stiftung gegen Rassismus und Antisemitismus (32 pp., illus.). Much of the material in the 1998 exhibition was identical to that shown in the original exhibition of 1982.
