A traveling exhibition of photographic panels, presented as part of Israel’s 30th anniversary celebrations. The exhibition endeavored to show how the challenge of reconciling the past and the present, or creating harmony between the ancient and the modern, is being confronted in Jerusalem of that time. Four main topics addressed: the conservation of archaeological sites, the treatment of historic open spaces, the restoration of single structures, and the restoration and preservation of neighborhoods.
