Description |
A reduced version of the “Exhibition of Jewish Art and Antiquities” mounted at the same venue in 1906, and featuring objects “of antiquarian interest” (ceremonial objects and printed books) and objects “of artistic interest” (paintings and prints) [#18]. Many types of Judaica were represented in significant numbers (Esther scrolls, Torah ornaments, Hanukkah lamps, etc.). Opening address by Herbert Samuel. Basic catalog listing. Several hundred items. |
