Wolf’s collection, greatly expanded over the years, was eventually housed in Berlin’s first Jewish Museum, established in 1933. The museum was closed by the Nazis in 1938, and its holdings seized. Most of the objects have not been recovered. For an exhibition documenting this history, see #2039 (Berlin, 2011). |
