In Chapter 4, Abū Yūsuf al-Kindī  previous chapter  Abū Yūsuf Yaʿqūb b. Isḥāq b. al-Ṣabbāḥ belonged to a family of the ancient Arab tribe of the Kinda. His ancestor al-Ašʿaṯ b.
