ABSTRACTHenri Battifol, in the introduction to his course, writes that the concept of coordination of systems claims to respond to the grievances addressed in the conflictual method of private international law. According to this concept of systems, the rules of conflicts of laws, far from processing the existing system as closed and foreign entities to one another, have the mandate to organize their coexistence and very specifically to make them existing together. It is to the study of this concept that the author dedicates his course.
