ABSTRACTPaul Reuter writes that he chooses a plan as classic as possible for his course, which fits into a tradition lying behind it and fits into the courses of Academy devoted to the general rules of the law of peace and to the general principles of public international law. Chapter I, International Societies and Their Law, and Chapter II, The Systematic Aspects of International Law, present the most general aspects of the subject under both aspects of law, social fact and thinking effort. The author next successively examines the topics, legal acts, international responsibility, and the solution to international conflicts.

Paul Reuter écrit qu'il a choisi pour son cours, qui s'insère dans la ligne d'une tradition qui l'a nourri, celle des cours que l'Académie a consacrés aux règles générales du droit de la paix et aux principes généraux du droit international public, un plan aussi classique que possible. Le chapitre I, Les sociétés internationales et leur droit et le chapitre II, Les aspects systématiques du droit international, présentent les aspects les plus généraux de la matière sous les deux aspects du droit, fait social et effort de la pensée. L'auteur étudie ensuite successivement les sujets, les actes juridiques, la responsabilité internationale, et la solution des conflits internationaux.
