ABSTRACTPetros G. Vallindas writes that the uniform private international law is, along with the unification of substantive rules, the desideratum of international legal science. With a view to its progressive realization, the in-depth study of the rules of private international law should be continued. This study should, as much as possible, highlight the common features of rules of private international law, both national and international. The "technology" of these rules is and should be considered in a uniform way. It is in this spirit that Petros G. Vallindas studies the structure of the rule of conflict, a rule which presents the most peculiar features among the rules of private international law.

Petros G. Vallindas écrit que le droit international privé uniforme est, parallèlement à l'unification des règles substantielles, le desideratum de la science juridique internationale. En vue de sa réalisation progressive, l'étude approfondie des règles de droit international privé doit être poursuivie. Cette étude devrait, autant que possible, mettre en relief les traits communs des règles de droit international privé, tant nationales qu'internationales. La « technologie » de ces règles est et doit être envisagée de manière uniforme. C'est dans cet esprit que Petros G. Vallindas étudie la structure de la règle de conflit, règle qui présente les traits les plus particuliers parmi les règles du droit international privé.
