ABSTRACTJoseph Chacko begins his course on India's Contribution to the Field of International Law Concepts with a review of the history of international law in ancient India. He then focuses on international law in India since 1947, the date of independence of that country, based on case studies. Finally, the author examines the situation of Indian States under international law, and then the issue of Kashmir under international law.

Il s'intéresse ensuite au droit international en Inde depuis 1947, date de l'indépendance de ce pays, en se basant sur des études de cas. L'auteur étudie ensuite la situation des Etats indiens au regard du droit international, puis la question du Cachemire au regard du droit international.
