ABSTRACTAfter some remarks on the fundamental concepts of sociology, B. Landheer examines the evolution of sociological thinking on international society and international law. The author next examines the relations between formal and non-formal structures in international society. The author discusses the impact of social change on international society. Finally, the author discusses the likely development of group formation in international society and the problem of rules of behavior.
Après quelques remarques sur les concepts fondamentaux de la sociologie, B. Landheer étudie l'évolution de la pensée sociologique relative à la société internationale et au droit international. Il s'intéresse ensuite aux rapports entre structure formelle et non-formelle dans la société internationale. Il présente ensuite les répercussions de l'évolution sociale sur la société internationale. Enfin, l'auteur aborde la question de l'évolution probable de la formation des groupes dans la société internationale et le problème des règles de conduite.
