ABSTRACTCovey T. Oliver begins his course on the Contemporary Problems of the Treaty Law with a presentation of the treaties and the law of treaties in public international law as it appeared in 1955. He then studies the contemporary problems of the treaty law in relation to national law and international law. He then examines the effects of the treaties on developments in the doctrine in public international law. Finally, he addresses certain problems in the administration of the law of treaties and certain problems concerning the constitutional treaties.

Oliver fait débuter son cours sur les problèmes contemporains de droit des traités par une présentation des traités et du droit des traités en droit international public tels qu'ils se présentent en 1955. Il étudie ensuite les problèmes contemporains de droit des traités en relation avec le droit national et le droit international. Il s'interroge ensuite sur les effets des traités sur les développements de la doctrine du droit international public. Il aborde enfin certains problèmes d'administration du droit des traités et certains problèmes concernant les traités constitutionnels.
