ABSTRACTThe purpose of Jan F. Hostie's course is to conduct a comparative study of already existing or developing conventions, governing or intended to govern the contract for carriage of goods, especially in international transport. The review concerns three conventions on rail transport, maritime transport, and air transport, respectively, and three projects on road transport, inland waterway, and combined transport, respectively.
Le cours de Jan F. Hostie a pour objet une étude comparative des conventions existantes ou en voie de préparation, régissant ou destinés à régir le contrat de transport de marchandises, surtout en trafic international. L'examen concerne trois conventions, portant respectivement sur le transport ferroviaire, le transport maritime et le transport aérien, et sur trois projets, portant respectivement sur le transport routier, la navigation intérieure et le transport combiné.
