ABSTRACTFrom a doctrinal point of view, Adolf Berle considers that the Charter of the United Nations confers rights within private international law on peoples while maintaining the rights previously recognized by the international law to the States. The author begins his course on the peace of peoples by comparing the peace of the States and peace of the peoples. He then examines the nature of the United Nations, the "Pax Gentium", the collective defense and the enforcement of the peace of peoples. He then expresses the vision of unity: the community of peoples.
D'un point de vue doctrinal, Adolf Berle considère que la Charte des Nations Unies confère des droits au sein du droit international privé aux peuples tout en maintenant les droits que le droit international reconnaissait auparavant aux États. L'auteur commence son cours sur la paix des peuples par une comparaison entre paix des États et paix des peuples. Il étudie ensuite la nature des Nations Unies, la « Pax Gentium », la défense collective et la mise en œuvre de la paix des peuples. Il exprime ensuite une vision d'unité : la communauté des peuples.
