ABSTRACTClyde Eagleton starts from the point of view, in his course, that the idea of responsibility comes historically from the moral sense of the existence of an obligation recognized throughout humanity: States have rights and duties, and any violation of any of these involves reparation. To deal with this issue, the author first examines the issue of international legal personality. The author then focuses on different aspects of international responsibility for an international organization: the United Nations.
