ABSTRACTG.W. Keaton devotes his course to Extraterritoriality in International Law and Comparative Law. After a historical study of the rise and development of the concept of extraterritoriality, the author focuses on the issue of the application of extraterritoriality. He then discusses the passing of these extraterritorial rights, in particular because of the revision of treaties or the conclusion of new treaties. The author later studies extraterritoriality as it appears in the framework of international law, and finally addresses the issue of extraterritoriality in comparative law.

G.W. Keaton consacre son cours à l'extraterritorialité en droit international et en droit comparé. Après une étude historique de l'apparition et du développement de la notion d'extraterritorialité, l'auteur s'intéresse à la question de son application. Il s'intéresse ensuite à la disparition de ces droits extraterritoriaux, du fait notamment de la révision des traités ou de la conclusion de nouveaux traités. L'auteur étudie ensuite l'extraterritorialité telle qu'elle se présente dans le cadre du droit international, puis il aborde la question de l'extraterritorialité en droit comparé.
