ABSTRACTGuennady Zhukov, Professor at the Institute of the State and Law of Moscow, points out that international space law is formed and developed literally before our eyes, while international maritime law has been formed over several centuries and international air law has been formed over a few decades. The author successively focuses on the main themes of space law (in particular international cooperation in the rescue of astronauts, international responsibility for damage caused by space objects, the legal regime of the Moon).
