ABSTRACTManfredi Siotto Pintor begins the course on the Subjects of International Law other than the States with a study of the uncertainties of the doctrine on the scope and nuances of the concept of subject of international law. The author then studies the definitions from the subjective point of view and from the objective point of view of international law. The author later focuses on international community, League of Nations, and the State Unions to explore if these are subjects of international law; on the British Empire and on the Dominions, as well as on the Roman Catholic Church and the Catholic Church at Vatican; on the rebels recognized as belligerent, the de facto government, the national groupings (tribes, minorities, populations under mandate), the international organizations, and individuals.
Manfredi Siotto Pintor commence son cours sur les sujets du droit international autres que les Etats par une étude des incertitudes de la doctrine sur l'étendue et les nuances du concept de sujet de droit international. Il étudie ensuite les définitions du point de vue subjectif et du point de vue objectif du droit international. Il s'intéresse ensuite, pour se demander si ce sont des sujets de droit international, à la communauté internationale, à la SDN et aux unions d’États ; à l'Empire britannique et aux Dominions, ainsi qu'à l’Église catholique romaine et au Vatican ; aux insurgés reconnus comme belligérants, aux gouvernements de fait, aux groupements nationaux (tribus, minorités, populations sous mandat), aux organisations internationales et aux individus.
