ABSTRACTJuan Antonio Carrillo Salcedo, Professor at the Autonomous University of Madrid, notes in the introduction to his course that at a time when the trend toward the opening seems indisputable in private international law, and when the particularist concept seems definitively outdated, the increase in the role of the state in all areas of social life, particularly the economic sphere, has resulted in the emergence of new and specific problems in private international law and a revival of particularism. The problems constitute the core of Professor Carrillo Salcedo’s course. First, the author analyzes certain manifestations of the revival of particularism. Then, he examines its limits in a second part as well as the role of the State in private international law
Juan Antonio Carrillo Salcedo, professeur à l'Université autonome de Madrid, note en introduction de son cours qu'à un moment où la tendance à l'ouverture paraissait incontestable en droit international privé, et quand la conception particulariste semblait définitivement dépassée, l'accroissement du rôle de l'Etat dans tous les domaines de la vie sociale, notamment le domaine économique, a eu pour résultat de faire apparaître des problèmes nouveaux et spécifiques en droit international privé ainsi qu'un renouveau du particularisme. C'est ce problème qui constitue le cœur du cours du Professeur Carrillo Salcedo. Dans un premier temps, l'auteur analyse certaines manifestations de ce renouveau du particularisme, puis il en examine les limites dans un second temps, ainsi que le sens du rôle de l'Etat en droit international privé.
