ABSTRACTErnst Frankenstein reports in this course on New Trends in Private International Law as it appeared in 1930. After presenting private international law as an expression of the major trends of the time, the author presents the prevailing trends, namely the nationalist trend, the internationalist trend, and the intermediate trends. He later presents the new trends related to the principles of personality and territoriality. He discusses the application of a new doctrine to fundamental problems.

Ernst Frankenstein rend compte dans ce cours de tendances nouvelles qu'il relève dans le droit international privé tel qu'il apparaît en 1930. Après une présentation du droit international privé comme expression des grands courants qui traversent l'époque, l'auteur présente les tendances régnantes, à savoir la tendance nationaliste, la tendance internationaliste et les tendances intermédiaires. Il présente ensuite les tendances nouvelles relatives aux principes de personnalité et de territorialité. Il applique ensuite la nouvelle doctrine aux problèmes fondamentaux.
