ABSTRACTPitman Potter begins his course on Intervention in Modern International Law with a presentation of the nature and forms of intervention and its place in international government. He analyzes the history of the intervention and its place in customary international law. The author devotes the subsequent developments to intervention under a treaty and the intervention of the League of Nations, and then to the importance of intervention for the future of international relations.
Pitman Potter commence son cours sur l'intervention dans le droit international moderne par une présentation de la nature et des formes de l'intervention et de sa place dans le gouvernement international. Il fait en suite une analyse de l'histoire de l'intervention, puis sa place en droit international coutumier. L'auteur consacre les développements suivants à l'intervention en vertu d'un traité et à l'intervention de la Société des Nations, puis à l'importance de l'intervention pour l'avenir des relations internationales.
