ABSTRACTFrancisco-Jose Urrutia begins his course on the codification of international law in America with a presentation of the principles of international law proclaimed by the American States since the constitution. He then presents the history of the codification of international law in America and the technique that has been used in this context. He then focuses on the Congress of American Jurisconsults, held in Rio de Janeiro on 18 April 1927, and the conventions adopted by the Sixth Pan American Conference.

Il présente ensuite l'histoire de la codification du droit international en Amérique et la technique qui a été utilisée dans ce cadre. Il s'intéresse ensuite au Congrès des jurisconsultes américains réuni à Rio de Janeiro le 18 avril 1927 et aux conventions adoptées par la sixième Conférence panaméricaine.
