ABSTRACTP. H. Kooijmans, Professor at the University of Leiden, devotes his course to the role played by Protestantism in the development of international law. After a study of the relationship between religion and law, the author presents the influence of the reformation on the development of international law (and in particular the role played by Protestantism in the secularization of law). In conclusion, the author presents the role played by modern Protestantism, particularly in the context of the World Council of Churches.

Après une étude de la relation entre religion et droit, l'auteur présente l'influence qu'a eu la Réforme sur le développement du droit international (et notamment le rôle joué par la sécularisation du droit entraîné par le protestantisme). En conclusion, l'auteur présente le rôle joué par le protestantisme moderne, notamment dans le cadre du Conseil œcuménique des Églises.
