ABSTRACTPierre Arminjon begins his course on the subject and method of private international law with a presentation of the subject of private international law. The author then studies the problem of the method in private international law (theoretical method, analytical method). The author then explains some historical notions, among which in particular the German theories including the theories of Savigny. The author describes the a priori method, the analytical method, and then the implementation of the analytical method and its bodies.
Pierre Arminjon commence son cours sur l'objet et la méthode du droit international privé par une présentation de l'objet du droit international privé. Il étudie ensuite le problème de la méthode en droit international privé (méthode théorique, méthode analytique). L'auteur expose ensuite quelques notions historiques, parmi lesquelles notamment les théories allemandes dont celle de Savigny. Il décrit ensuite la méthode a priori, puis la méthode analytique, puis la mise en œuvre de la méthode analytique et ses organes.
