ABSTRACTArthur Kuhn’s course is devoted to the doctrine and practice of private international law of the United States. After a presentation of the doctrine of "Comity", the author studies the conception of public policy in the United States. He then focuses on the conception of the criminal law and the procedure for appeals, the ability of the people, the contract and the state of marriage, divorce courts, property law, contracts, acts of causing harm committed in other countries, succession, and the doctrine of renvoi.
Le cours d'Arthur Kuhn est consacré à la doctrine et à la pratique du Droit international privé des Etats-Unis. Après une présentation de la doctrine de la courtoisie ou « Comity », l'auteur étudie la conception de l'ordre public aux Etats-Unis. Il s'intéresse ensuite à la conception de la loi pénale et de la procédure des recours, à la capacité des personnes, au contrat et à l'état de mariage, aux juridictions en matière de divorce, au droit de propriété, aux contrats, aux actes dommageables commis à l'étranger, aux successions, et à la doctrine du renvoi.
