ABSTRACTKarel Vasak notes that the Universal Declaration is the source of inspiration and the source of law for modern international human rights law. However, not all the problems have been solved, and there are already some questions about the delimitation of the subject. For this reason, the author devotes his first chapter to a study of the content and delimitation of international human rights law. He examines the international human rights institutions and then the links between general international law and international human rights law. He later presents the current problems of international human rights law (in 1974) (personalization, criminalization, unification) and shows the specificity of international human rights law in the conclusion.
Pour le droit international moderne des droits de l'homme, relève Karel Vasak, c'est la Déclaration universelle qui constitue la source d'inspiration et la source du droit. Tous les problèmes n'en sont pas résolus pour autant, et déjà certaines questions de délimitation du sujet se posées. C'est pourquoi l'auteur consacre son premier chapitre à une étude du contenu et de la délimitation du droit international des droits de l'homme. Il étudie ensuite les institutions internationales relatives aux droits de l'homme, puis les ponts existant entre droit international général et droit international des droits de l'homme. Il présente ensuite les problèmes actuels du droit international des droits de l'homme (en 1974) (personnalisation, criminalisation, unification) et montre en conclusion la spécificité du droit international des droits de l'homme.
